A machine shop
that ships product
Rigid Hardware is the product arm of Rigid Concepts, LLC — a precision CNC machine shop in Van Alstyne, Texas. We hold tolerances to half a thousandth for customers who reject anything less, and we build products wherever we see good people wasting time on bad hardware.
The UBox started the way most shop products do: watching a builder field-fabricate an electrical box for a panel wall. Cut a hole, bend a patch panel, screw it on, apologize for it. Every barndominium needs dozens of them, every one is handmade, and every one looks it. So we machined the problem away — a patented, all-metal box and faceplate that mounts in the flat span between ribs and installs off a template in minutes.
Every UBox is machined, finished, and shipped from the same building in Van Alstyne. When you call about an order, you're talking to the shop that cut it.
Every UBox is inspected by a machinist before it's boxed. If it doesn't meet print, we replace it or refund it.
