Rigid Hardware is a product line of Rigid Concepts, LLC, a precision CNC machine shop in Van Alstyne, Texas. We make parts on our own machining and turning centers and have spent years cutting 316 stainless for customers who reject parts over half a thousandth. Turned-and-milled stainless work is what this shop was built on.

We started making data center liquid cooling hardware because we watched the direct-to-chip buildout stall on the small stuff. Commissioning teams with racks staged and CDUs on the pad were waiting 12-plus weeks for a stainless adapter or a manifold fitting, then paying panic pricing to expedite it. These are parts we can machine in an afternoon. So we built a standard line around the ORV3 and OCP ecosystem, UQD and UQDB interfaces, and PG25 loop hardware, and we keep it moving.

Everything ships from the same building in Van Alstyne where it was machined, passivated, pressure tested, and bagged. No import lead times, no broker markups. When you call about an order, you are talking to the shop that cut it.

Every part is inspected by a machinist before it's bagged, not sampled by a percentage. If anything we ship doesn't meet print, we replace it or refund it.

Fit & fluid compatibility
Are your parts compatible with PG25 and other data center coolants?
Yes. 316L stainless is compatible with PG25 (25% propylene glycol), water-glycol mixes, and treated water loops. Seal materials are called out on each product page; EPDM is standard for glycol service. If you're running a dielectric or something unusual, send us the fluid spec and we'll confirm before you order.
What are your actual lead times?
In-stock parts ship in 5-7 business days from Van Alstyne. Carts and assembled skids ship in 10-15 business days. Custom manifolds are quoted in 24-48 hours and ship in about 15 business days after drawing approval. If a date matters, tell us and we'll commit to one or tell you we can't.
Do you accept purchase orders and net terms?
Yes. We accept POs with net-30 terms for approved accounts. Send your PO and credit references to get set up; approval usually takes a day or two. First orders can run on a credit card while paperwork clears.
Can you make a modified or fully custom part?
That's the point of owning the machines. We can modify any standard part, change a port, a thread, a length, or machine a custom fitting from your drawing or STEP file. Send what you have, even a sketch or a photo of the part you're trying to replace, and we'll quote it.
Ordering, testing & returns
What testing and documentation comes with the parts?
Material certs are available on every order at no charge; ask at time of order. Pressure test reports, passivation certs, and certificates of conformance are available on request. If your commissioning package needs specific documentation, tell us up front and it ships with the parts.
Are the parts clean enough to install directly into a coolant loop?
Yes. Every wetted part is washed, passivated, dried, capped, and individually bagged before packing. No cutting oil, no chips, no shop dust. Standard practice is to leave the caps on until the moment you make the connection.
Are your UQD fittings interchangeable with other manufacturers?
Our UQD and UQDB interface parts are machined to the OCP specification, which is what makes cross-vendor mating possible. As with any quick disconnect, verify size and series match before connecting. If you send us the part number you're mating to, we'll confirm fit.
What is your return policy?
Standard catalog parts in unopened bags can be returned within 30 days. Configured-to-order and custom parts are not returnable, but everything we ship is covered by our workmanship guarantee: if a part doesn't meet print, we replace it or refund it, no argument.
