When a rack shows up before the servers do, somebody has to close the loop: jumper the manifold drops, cap the open couplings, pull a coolant sample, and prove the loop holds pressure. Today most techs improvise that hardware or pay panic pricing for it. We productized it instead. Every wetted part here is 316L stainless machined in our Van Alstyne shop, sealed with EPDM compatible with PG25 and treated DI water, then cleaned, capped, and double-bagged so you can open it at the rack.

Buy caps and plugs by UQD size, bypass jumpers as singles or 10-packs, or grab a complete rack-commissioning kit in a foam-lined case sized for your deployment. Everything is dimensioned to mate with couplings built to the OCP UQD specification, and every jumper is pressure-decay tested before it goes in the bag. If your loop uses a different interface or hose length, we machine configured-to-order, ask.

Open UQD couplings collect dust, drip residual coolant, and get their seal faces dinged on ladder rails. This set covers six coupling pairs: six caps for the plug (male) halves and six plugs for the socket (female) halves, each machined from 316L bar in our Van Alstyne shop. EPDM O-rings seal against residual loop pressure so a disconnected drop stays dry through the rest of the build. Cross-drilled for lanyards so they stay with the rack, not in someone's pocket.

UQD06 is the workhorse size on most ORV3 direct-to-chip deployments, which means it is also the size most often left open, dripping, and collecting drywall dust during fit-out. This set protects six coupling pairs with 316L caps and plugs sealed by EPDM O-rings. Cleaned, double-bagged, and at the rack the week you need them.

The big drops, manifold feeds and CDU-side connections, are the ones you least want open to the room. This UQD08 set covers six coupling pairs with 316L caps and plugs, EPDM-sealed against residual pressure so an opened connection stays dry and clean until the loop goes back together. Same Van Alstyne machining, same cleaned-and-bagged handling as everything else we ship for coolant service.

Racks land weeks before servers do, and the manifold still has to be flushed, filled, and pressure-tested. This jumper drops into a supply and return manifold socket pair in place of a server loop, closing the circuit so you can run the CDU. 316L barb fittings with crimped 304 collars on reinforced EPDM hose; every jumper is pressure-decay tested in our shop before it is bagged. Standard build is plug-to-plug at 24 inches; other end configurations and lengths are configured-to-order.

This 10-pack is the same 24-inch UQD06 plug-to-plug jumper we sell as a single, every one pressure-decay tested and individually bagged, at roughly 11% off single-unit pricing. Ten jumpers is typically enough to close out a partially populated rack for flush and pressure test, or to spread across several racks during staged bring-up.

Coolant Sampling Port Kit

Coolant chemistry drifts, glycol concentration, pH, particulates, bacteria, and pulling a clean sample from a live loop should not involve cracking a fitting over a drip pan. This kit centers on a 316L sampling adapter that connects into a spare UQD manifold drop, with an integral stainless needle valve metering flow through FEP tubing into the bottle. Includes twelve 60 mL HDPE sample bottles, labels, and loop log cards so samples arrive at the lab traceable to a rack and date. Specify UQD04 or UQD06 adapter interface at checkout.

Everything one tech needs to flush, close, test, and sample up to four racks, in one foam-lined hard case instead of a milk crate of ad hoc parts. For row-scale bring-up where two techs are working racks in parallel. The wheeled, foam-lined case carries ten UQD06 bypass jumpers, two 6+6 cap and plug sets in each of UQD04, UQD06, and UQD08, two complete sampling port kits so sampling does not bottleneck on one adapter, and an expanded EPDM O-ring spares assortment.
