Coolant Sampling & Filtration Skids

Debris from construction, brazing scale, and biofouling all end up in someone's cold plate. This line covers the hardware nobody makes purpose-built — inline 316L filter housings, low-dead-leg sample stations, and turnkey side-stream skids sized for PG25 secondary loops. Every wetted part is machined here, cleaned, capped, and bagged for coolant service.

Most liquid-cooled facilities are running lab draws through whatever ball valve was closest, and filtering the loop with hardware borrowed from the hydronics aisle. That works until a particle count comes back ugly and nobody can prove where the sample was taken or what it touched on the way out. These products exist so your fluid-quality program has defensible hardware behind it: dedicated sample points with septum draws, filtration with real micron ratings and differential pressure indication, and documentation that survives a commissioning review.

All wetted components are 316L stainless machined in our Van Alstyne shop, with EPDM seals selected for PG25 (25% propylene glycol) service. Housings accept industry-standard 2.5 in OD cartridge elements, so replacement media is never a sole-source problem. Skids are hydrostatically tested, flushed with DI water, and shipped capped and bagged.

Inline Filter Housing, 1 in NPT, 25 Micron

A single-cartridge inline housing machined from 316L bar, not cast. Accepts standard 2.5 in OD x 9.75 in double-open-end cartridges, so you are never locked to our elements. Ships with one 25 micron pleated polypropylene element installed, plus 1/4 in FNPT gauge ports upstream and downstream for differential pressure monitoring. Vent and drain ports let you swap elements without dumping the line.

Sample Valve Station with Septum Port

Purpose-built sample point for coolant chemistry programs. The 316L body integrates an isolation ball valve, a needle-type metering valve for controlled draw rate, and a replaceable PTFE-faced silicone septum so lab draws go straight into a syringe with minimal air contact — the way you want it for dissolved metals and particle counts. Low-dead-leg geometry means the first flush actually clears the sample path. Mounts to a 1/2 in MNPT process connection at any panel or tee.

A compact pumped skid for continuous side-stream polishing of a secondary loop — pull a few percent of loop volume through real filtration around the clock without touching the CDU. The 316 SS magnetic-drive pump draws through an RH-FH-125 housing with a liquid-filled differential pressure gauge across the element, so element life is a reading, not a guess. Connect with the included FNPT terminations or specify UQD-compatible hose ends at order. Hydrostatically tested and DI-flushed before shipment.

The full-size answer for commissioning flushes and permanent loop polishing. Duplex 316L housings with 316 SS changeover valving let you swap elements on one side while the other carries flow — no interruption, no bypass of dirty coolant. Each housing gets its own liquid-filled differential pressure gauge, and an integrated RH-SV-200 sample station puts a proper lab draw point right on the skid. Stainless frame standard, because this skid lives next to the loop for the life of the site.
